Note: In reality, at Coverack, the sequence passes from gabbro, interlayered gabbros, troctolites and serpentinised peridotites, to just serpentinites over ~100m so there is a transition zone rather than a sharp boundary.

Day 364 : Devonian Gramscatho Group sediments with small mine adits along mineralised fault plane. Trevaunance Bay, St Agnes, Cornwall.

Day 363 : Xenolith in Cornish Granite on reverese of memorial to “Operation Chariot”, the Royal Navy / Commando raid on St Nazaire docks in 1942. Falmouth, Cornwall, from where the raid was launched. 

Day 362 : The Towanwroath Shaft engine house at Wheal Coates tin mine made from local Gramscatho Group stone, St Agnes Head, Cornwall.

Day 361 : Mineral vein in Gramscatho Group, quarried out above the old quay at Trevaunance Bay, St Agnes, Cornwall, UK.

Day 360 : Braunite (manganese silicate) from Tirodi Mine, Tirodi, Madhya Pradesh, India.  Cotton collection, Keele.

Day 359 : Geothite from Restormel Royal Iron Mine, Lostwithiel, St Austell District, Cornwall, England. The mine was renamed after a visit by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1846, with Albert reputedly hewing a piece of ore (not this one) with a pick. Cotton collection, Keele.   

Day 358 : Specular Haematite from Itabira, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Cotton collection, Keele.

Day 357 : Micaceous Hematite from County Cork (probably the Mizen Peninsula), Ireland. Cotton collection, Keele.
