Rock 365 : Day 91 : Pseudolithite #365photos

Day 91 : I can’t believe we are a quarter of the way through the year
and this 365 project. To celebrate here is one of my favourite
samples, pseudolithite. It is the one I use to throw at students who
aren’t paying attention in lectures and at the TV when they start
spouting nonsense about frogs predicting earthquakes or some such.

[Update: This is the entry for April 1st.  The ‘rock’ is actually painted high density foam – the name pseudolithite literally means ‘false rock]

  1. …but what is it really?

  2. Note: This entry for April 1st is actually painted high density foam – which is how I can get away with throwing it at things / people.

  3. Aha… literally “throwing it at them.” I getcha.
