Rock 366 : Day 161 : Mine and Mineral Vein


Day 161 : More Lake District field work. Here a quartz-rich mineral vein in the roof of the entrance to an old mine in Brandy Gill. Host rock is a microgabbro of the Carrock Fell Complex. Cumbria, England.
